What would an excess of synapses do though? Too much thinking? It would be nice to have that side of the story too. I know thinking is a highly desired skill, but too much thinking, or over-thinking can produce all sorts of problems (as in not being able to stop and have moments of calm??) I practice meditation and my mind seems to just not be able to stop, ever. It's always making connections, trying to crack an uncrackable code... I was wondering if there's such a thing as too many synapses. I know I have a high IQ and I suspect that can also be a problem.
