NeuroMorpho hyper-links up digital reconstructions from several thousand different cell types across many species with information on function, size, connectivity and neural simulation tools. The cell above is a Von Economo neuron, one of the few known specializations to hominoid cortical microcircuitry. Weird and wild to ponder that without this little cell, I lose my sense of “self”.
